Munro to tackle Manchester in U14 and U16 Football

Mandeville, Manchester- Munro College will seek to derail Manchester High in both the U14 and U16 competitions when both schools meet at Manchester High in a double header today.

The Munro U16 team are gunning to rebound from their 3-2 loss to York Castle on Friday. Munro were leading the contest 2-1 at half time with Stefano Hynes delivering a brace. Munro faltered badly in the second half when they conceded two goals to lose 3-2. Coach Davey Thomas will hope his charges are not up to any second half lapses today as was the case in the last two games. Munro were leading 3-0 against William Knibb after one half in the game last Wednesday, but faded down the stretch though they won the game 3-1.

The Munro U14 team will hope to build on their emphatic 9-2 win over Ocho Rios when they come up against Manchester at 1:45 this afternoon.
