(From Left to Right) Goal scorers Errol Davis, Raheem Eccleston, and Jermaine "Sampo" Samms
Malvern, St. Elizabeth: Many time champions Munro College remain even on points with STETHS on top of Zone E with a 3-0 win over Black River High.
Right flank midfielder Errol Davis opened the scoring with a strike from the edge of the 18 yard box. Striker Jermaine Samms made it 2-0 with a well timed header just before half time.
The goal of the game and perhaps the season so far would come from the boot of Raheem Eccleston. The burly left back power down the flank to unleash a scorching shot, giving the Black River custodian little chance from about about 25 yards. This was Eccleston's second goal from three games.
In other games, STETHS handed Balaclava their first defeat of the season when they scored two penalties to win 2-0. Lacovia moved to twelve (12) points, four (4) behind leaders STETHS and Munro when they beat Newell 2-1.
Munro will next play Balaclava (14 points) this Saturday at Munro.
