Munro College's U16 team got off to a blazing start with a 7-1 spanking of Lacovia. Levar Dunchie had a four timer, and Amin Miller grabbed a hat-trick, as Munro raced ominously to the top of the group.
Mean while, Munro's U14 team opened their account with a 3-3 draw with Black River. Goals were provided by Mark Parchment, Romario Dezousa, and Stephano Hinds.
In their second game the U14s traveled to STETHS where they gave up a 1-0 first half lead, with STETHS equalizing from the penalty spot. The game ended 1-1 with Stephano Hinds scoring for Munro.
The U14 had their third game against Lacovia at Munro. Lacovia opened the scoring in the first half to go up 1-0. Munro replied with goals from Antonio Gregg, Rajay Ottey, and Mark Parchment, to dismiss Lacovia 3-1.
The next match for Munro in the U14 will be an away game next Monday against Black River High. Munro are second in the group on five points, two behind leaders STETHS.
The Munro U16 team will next play Black River on Friday in an away game.
