Ben Francis KO Preliminary Round on in Ernest
Montego Bay, St. James- The games between Ruseas High and Manning;s High, and Manchester High and Clarendon College should take the spotlight as the 2010 Ben Francis KO kicks off with four matches tomorrow at 3:00pm.
The games and venues are as follows:
Old Harbour High vs Buff Bay at Prison Oval
Clarendon College vs Manchester High at Jamalco
Marcus Garvey Technical vs St. Mary Tech at Drax Hall
Ruseas High vs Manning's High at Jarrett Park

Munro get set for Interzone Round
Mandeville, Manchester- Munro College came from a goal down to defeat Decarteret College by a 3-1 margin on Saturday.
Amin Miller, Krishem Black and Shaunuvan Dezousa were the scorers for Munro.
In the game last Wednesday against Lacovia High, Munro overcame some first half jitters to win 2-0. Akeen Royal picked up a red card when he brought down a Lacovia player who was heading goal ward.
Munro would strike back with Brandon Clarke getting his first goal of the season. Amin Miller would finish off a great combination between himself and Shaunuvan Desouza, resulting in the second goal.
Munro will face Manchester High, Manning's High, and the second place team in Zone H which could most likely be Lennon High in the inter zone round which begins November 3.

Munro set to Return to Winning Ways
Malvern, St. Elizabeth- Munro College look to shake of the disappointment of their 2-0 loss to STETHS when they tackle Lacovia High this afternoon at 3:30pm.
Last Saturday at the Munro Sports Complex, the game came to life in the second half after a docile first half.
STETHS came close to scoring when Derval Vaccianna's right footed shot was headed off the line by Captain Leighton "Egg Head" Thorpe. Davian Ash produced a well placed header at the Munro goal, but the excellent Lloyd Tyme pulled of a great save.
STETHS scored the opening goal when forward Denmark Gillings weaved his way into the box, with Munro defender Monnair Moodie sliding in to thwart Gillings' run, referee Cardella Samuels pointed to the spot, deeming what appeared to be a good tackle an infraction instead. Levaughn Baker converted from the spot in the 69th minute.
Referee Samuels would make yet another blunder when Kaneil Harrison went up to challenge for a ball, but lost his balance hitting a STETHS player on the way down. Samuels proceeded to send him off.
Munro pressed for the equaliser, and appeared to half gotten it when they were awarded a penalty when STETHS defender Jason Jacobs handled the ball from a corner. Jacobs was red carded for his doings. This was not to be however, as STETHS substitute goalkeeper Leo-Pepe Cole blocked Leighton Thorpe's powerfully hit penalty.
STETHS would strike again when Ahkeem Jones latched on to a pass, calmly slotting past Lloyd Tyme.

Munro brace for STETHS
Malvern, St. Elizabeth- All roads lead to Malvern St. Elizabeth for the gigantic Zone F top of the table clash between many time champions and current Zone leaders Munro College, and Dacosta Cup Champions STETHS.
When the teams meet tomorrow afternoon at 3pm in the cool hills of Malvern, Munro will look to maintain their edge over STETHS. Munro boasts an enviable four year unbeaten home game streak, and have conceded only one goal all season; this coming in their 3-1 win over minnows Mile Gully last Wednesday.
The STETHS contingent are faced with an uphill task to unseat the defensively stubborn Munro. Exacerbating their level of difficulty will be the absents of their top three players Kevon Farquarson, Akeemo Palmer, along with goalkeeper and Captain Gregory McKogg, who are all on national duty at the CFU U20 play-offs in Guyana. Coach Wendell Downswell, and winning Dacosta Cup coach Andrew Edwards will be both absent from the sideline due to their assignment with the Jamaica U20 Team. Undeterred by this, Assistant Coach Omar "Rambo"Legister, has used two contrasting teams in the last two games out of his twenty-six man (26) squad, to make up for the absence of his three henchmen.
Munro on the other hand should be ultra confident at home, they have not conceded a goal to STETHS at home since 2005. Coach Harrison is intent on qualifying for the Ben Francis and will leave nothing to chance. Munro will rely on the attacking prowess of Amin Miller, Shaunuvan Desouza, Kaneil Harrison, Karl Simpson, and Kenry Rowe to gain them victory. Munro needs only a point to qualify for the interzone round, but will be more satisfied with a victory tomorrow.

Munro cruise past Decarteret
Malvern, St. Elizabeth- Munro College maintained their good run in the 2010 ISSA Pepsi Dacosta Cup, when they emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over third place Decarteret College. Munro moved to sixteen (16) points from six (6) games, two (2) points clear of second place STETHS who beat Maggotty High 2-0.
National U17 and Munro central midfielder Kaneil Harrison opened the scoring for the Zone F kingpins . Minutes later Akeen Royal would net Munro's second to open up a first half 2-0 lead. Striker Amin"Killer" Miller would return to his scoring ways, getting the third goal for Munro.

Munro oppose Decarteret
Malvern, St. Elizabeth- Many time Dacosta Cup Champions Munro College, will look to maintain their impeccable defensive record so far, when they take on third place Decarteret College in a rescheduled game this afternoon at the Munro Sports Complex.
Munro are coming off a sound thrashing of Maggotty High last Saturday when they romped to a 4-0 victory with goals from Krishem Black, Akeen Royal, Jamaica National U17 midfielder Kaneil Harrison, and the imposing Captain Leighton "Egg Head" Thorpe. Thorpe's goal was a beauty, as he fired a powerful free-kick that crashed high into the corner of the Maggotty net.
In other games, STETHS hammered Lacovia 4-0, and Decarteret got the better of Mile Gully 3-1.
