Munro seek Redemption Against Manchester

Brook's Park, Mandeville- Many time Dacosta Cup champions Munro will seek to atone for their 5-1 loss to Lennon High when they tackle Manchester High at Brook's Park in a 2pm game.

In the Lennon game last Friday Justin Johnson put the Lennon team ahead in just the 3rd minute of play. Odane Brown would make it 2-0 for Lennon when he fired a ferocious shot past Lloyd Tyme in goal. Munro answered back with a strike from Brandon "Spongy" Clarke in the 32nd minute. The half would end 2-1.

Lennon picked up where they left off, when Leighton Thorpe's misdirected header was swung across the Munro goal area by Munro left back Karl Simpson into the path of the onrushing Odane Brown, who fired powerfully into the net.

Munro's woes would continue when Monnair Moodie attempted to block a Lennon free-kick which bounced off him and into the net. Lennon Captain and national U20 player Ewan Grandison scored in the 75th minute from just inside the 18 yard box to make the score 5-1.
