Munro Out of Dacosta Cup

Frome, Westmoreland- Munro College failed to advance to the inter-zone round of the Dacosta Cup when they were beaten by Manning's High 3-0.

It was a miserable afternoon for the former champions who found it difficult to get behind a stubborn Manning's defense. With the first half ending 0-0 and the doors closing on the Dacosta Cup, Munro came out more purposeful in the second half, but lacked fluidity in the final third.

Manning's would score their first goal from a free-kick which was headed onto the goal posted, but not cleared by the Munro defense, allowing a Manning's attacker to toe the ball into the net. Munro lost their composure after that resulting in Monnair Moodie, and Rasheem Eccleston getting red carded. This would be Munro's sixth red card in six games.

Manning's would score their second goal; a header from their free-kick. Munro gave up after that. Manning's responded by going further ahead when Melvin Blair ran by the Munro defense to poke the ball past Ahkeem Forbes in goal.
