Addison Park, St.Ann- Munro College defeated Zone D kingpins and 2009 LINKZ 20/20 quarter finalists Brown's Town Comprehensive 2-0.
The Munronians played attractive soccer, and should have had a wider margin of victory had the speedy Rajiv Service delivered on his scoring opportunities. The powerfully built striker Rafi Roberts and midfielder Carl Simpson got the goals for the visitors.
Munro will now set their sites on fierce rivals Cornwall College, who they will play in the Jackson Shield this Saturday September 5, 2009 at Cornwall.
