Munro stunned by Glenmuir 3-0

Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth- Munro College were shocked by Glenmuir 3-0 in the final of the Ben Francis completion.
Munro squandered many chances early and paid dearly for their misses, when Ricardo Webber guided a free kick into the goal to give Glenmuir a first half lead.

Munro went on the attack in the second half and could have equalized on a number of occasions, until Jamar Jackson's free kick beat Lloyd Tyme at the far post. Paul Wilson sealed the issue 3 minutes from time when he beat two defenders to fire the ball to the inside of the far post.

Munro will next play Clarendon College at Jamalco in the Dacosta Cup on Wednesday at 3:30pm.

Hutchie can you tell if Desouza or Samms played in the Ben Francis Finals....is Desouza still with the team? Word is that scouts are after him. My prayers are with the team as they go in search of the D'Cup title. Thanks for the posts

I am a past munro soccer star here in the united states also played for manchester high and glenmuir didnt stun munro the reason why glenmuir got where they are its because they beat top schools to get to the "finals" i didnt see samms on the roster nor did he get changed on to the field i read where munro s full team didnt play newell and went up 9-0 well newell is a weak team as u progress into the finals and things like that dont under estimate any team.Go hard all the time put the full squad there all the time then when u have a comfortable lead and the game is coming to a close switch it up if you feel like it.GOd bless.

Samms did not play because he had accumulated three yellow cards.

Munro players arent decisive when goin forward, they tend to be unsure how to attack. Instead of running at or pressuring the opposing teams defense, they play as if they are wondering how to do it.
