Former Champions Munro College came from a goal down to defeat Maggotty High 2-1 at the waterlogged Appleton Sports Complex field.
Munro squandered close to half a dozen easy chances in a first half that ended 0-0. Coach Hopeton Gilchrist was livid as he instructed his charges at half time.
Munro came out more determined in the second half, but continued to miss goals at will. Maggotty counter attacked with a long ball that slipped passed skipper Chriswayne Wallace in defence. Goalkeeper Deandre Samms rushed off his line to block the shot, but striker Jermaine Dunkley knocked the ball in at the second attempt.
Akeem Brown, Akeem Bowes and striker Chris Wint where brought on for Munro. Munro looked far more potent and will get the equaliser from a Shafial Mason header in the 78th minute (See Video). Striker Chris Wint slid in to score the winner for Munro in the 82nd minute when he pounced on a cross from Allen Bell.
Munro are now atop of the zone along side Lacovia High who registered a 2-1 victory over STETHS.
Munro and STETHS will now face off in the featured Zone E game on Saturday September 27,2008.

looks like MC and Loacovia are the top teams in Zone E. Did steth fell off?
This Zone is a 3 horse race, but Munro will prevail.
